Cape Epic Legends: Signed Jersey

Between 2004 and 2016, Christoph Sauser and Karl Platt each recorded five Absa Cape Epic victories. Their rivalry was fierce, but in 2022 they teamed up to race Cape Epic for the Masters jersey. They were in good spirits throughout, reminiscing about past events, eventually building up a lead of 49 minutes on GC in their category.

This winner’s jersey, signed by Karl and Christoph, is a rare piece of Cape Epic history. The proceeds benefit the Songo programme, which Christoph founded in 2008.
