Today saw the riders heading out onto the legendary Welvanpas trails & with the early showers to bed down the dust the riders were in for a 71km treat.

The stage was dominated by Topeak-Ergon and Investec-songo-Specialized and finished in an exciting sprint finish. “ I enjoyed the stage which was full of single trails and the sprint was an amazing, I was feeling good but didn’t know if we had won or not but it ended up being a good victory and I look forward to tomorrow.”

“Jaro was pushing the pace into the finish and Alban cam to the front. I was in 4th position and took the corner at speed which helped me take it” Susi explained when asked about the finish. “It was a very exciting race, normally I don’t do so good on a short stage.”

“The last time I had 5 stage wins it was with Burry” Susi reminisced.  It is no doubt that there will be many special memories for Christoph as he crosses the finish line tomorrow. We wish Jaro & Susi all the best as they head off on the last stage of the event, they are true champions in every sense of the word and we will proudly cheer them as they enter the finishing straight at the beautiful Meerendal Estate.

Azu again had a great days riding and came in looking and feeling strong. He's looking forward to the finals stage tomorrow and being cheered in by the excited songo kids.
