Junior Eliminator Series - 22 May 2016

30 May 2016

On the 22nd of May, the team made their way to Bishops College for the 2nd Eliminator of the year.

The Eliminator series is aimed at Primary and High School kids. The format of racing is fast, fun and very spectator friendly. 4 riders race around a 800m course, after which 2 riders moving on to the next round and the other 2 riders move into the "last chance qualifying" round. This format of racing is great for the kids speed, and teaches them how to race tactically.
We had a total of 8 riders entered. Sikhumbele Giyo made his way through all the motos, quarter finals until he was unfortunately knocked out in the Semi finals. Someleze made the quarter finals in a very competitive 16yrs old class. It was great to see the guys racing and giving 100%. was entered as a school and ended up 7th overall on the rankings. This was a big improvement from last year and the kids are already looking forward to the next round.
