Nelson Mandela Day on 18 July honours our nation’s founding father’s birthday – and his legacy of justice, equality and compassion – through acts of service and kindness. Throughout South Africa people come together to dedicate 67 minutes of service on Mandela Day to honour the 67 years he dedicated to public service.

At songo.info we follow Madiba’s example and will be cleaning up the sports fields adjacent to our clubhouse in Kayamandi on Wednesday, 24 July. [Postponed from the 18th due to inclement weather.] We’ll be joined by our friends at fibertime™. Please get in touch if you’d like to participate in an afternoon of service to the Kayamandi community. We’ll provide the black bags and cleaning equipment, we just need you!
