Many months ago, at an ABSA Cape Epic Dinner, Christoph Sauser was pondering what to raise money for. He had a desire to give back, to the small, informal settlement very near by to the little town he comes to train in for a few weeks every year. He has been through many Charity options, but none of them got his attention. Erica Green and Songo Fipaza just happened to be seat at the same table as Christoph that night… and over the course of the evening, the three of them shared ideas and dreams. Chrisoph left that dinner more passionate than ever. A BMX Track for the kids of Kayamandi, that’s a cause worth riding the Cape Epic for…

The BMX Track has been a dream of Songo and Erica’s for a long time. With the help of the World Champion, it could become a reality. Christoph paired up with Burry Stander to raise funds and awareness for the new SONGO.INFO BMX Track in Kayamandi. Together with the JAG Foundation, Pedal Power and ABSA Bank, this BMX Track is now, officially, a reality.
