Project Managers Update

Erica Green, the project manager, has set a date for the first bit of earth to be moved….9 of June, that is in 4 days! Everything is now set up for the building of the BMX track. Erica, Songo and JAG have worked very hard over the last couple of weeks setting up all the landscaping materials, getting professionals in to design the course, setting up bike and helmet deals for the kids…

Stellenbosch Municipality agree to give songo.info the piece of land for BMX track

Songo Fipaza, the man behind songo.info, has been working alongside the municipality to ensure that the piece of land demarcated to the bmx track, does in fact get given to the project.  Below is the email from Songo, confirming that the municipality has awarded us the land!

“Hey guys,
I hope that your all doing well.
I just got the phone call from the Stellenbosch Municipality we have the ground.
They told me that we can start biulding the BMX track now for the kids of Kayamandi.
Thank you very much to all of you for your prayers and support.
I am now very happy that this happening.

We will keep you up date with everything that is happening on the BMX track.
