It is tradition for the Cape Epic to have a final dinner at Moyo in the Speir Estate. This year, it was very festive-with good wine and endless food flowing. The songo.info team was chilling out in one on the tree-top tables, when we heard over the speaker that ABSA Bank would like to make a contribution to the songo.info team…well all sat up and had a listen to what was being said…which went something like this:

“It is very admirable for the World Champion to ride the Cape-Epic for a charity, this year he is raising money for the township of Kayamandi to build a BMX track-ABSA would like to donate R50 000 to this noble cause”… I dont remember the rest because I was going ballistic! This whole charity project has been the best experience, there have been such tough times and it is so rewarding when it all comes together!

Christoph has a really special relationship with Oscar Grobler and his wife. They were really sad for Christoph and songo.info team when Burry had to pull out of the race. Thank-you very much for your generous donation to the songo.info charity project.
