The Songo.info Charity initiative was birthed with Christoph Sauser’s will to ride the 2008 Absa Cape Epic for a charitable cause. He’s heart has been to give back to South Africa, to his winter training base town of Stellenbosch, and more directly to the community of Kayamandi. The construction on the BMX track in Kayamandi is now underway. Project Manager has reported that there has been lots of rain and mud, but that has not stopped them from getting the earth moved…the course designer has stated that the course should be finished within the next two weeks!
